Counterbalance Operative

Construction wholesaler is seeking to hire an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for their Dublin-based warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role with a valid counterbalance license.

This is a great opportunity for someone to gain experience with a large-scale company that is working with world-class brands. You will be at the core of the warehouse operation as a Counterbalance Operative. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and loading inbound and outbound stock whilst adhering to and following health & safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely, load and unload vehicles with customer orders
• Follow all required checking procedures for cargo coming in and going out
• Safe operation of forklift for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated areas within the warehouse
• General housekeeping duties
• Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear & tear
• Comply with company policies and health & safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance License (Essential)
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate (Preferred)
• Previous experience in a warehouse and operating a counterbalance forklift
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities/tasks
• Ability to interact effectively as a member of a team and work collaboratively with other departments
• Equally comfortable working on own initiative or to a predefined process
