Salary: €28k - €32k per year / €14 - €15 per hour

Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative

Specialised distribution company supplying products to the construction industry based are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to join their team based in North Dublin on a full-time, permanent basis. You will need a valid Counterbalance licence and a full Irish driving licence to be considered for this position. You will be responsible for handling goods in the warehouse (goods in/out), loading & unloading delivery vans and general warehouse duties.

The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude who works well as part of a team. You will have had previous, relevant experience in a fast-paced warehouse, working knowledge of handheld scanners and comfortable using technology (computer systems etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely around the warehouse, moving products and pallets as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and goods in/goods out
• Using handheld scanners to scan incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Providing cover to van delivery drivers during absences/annual leave etc.

Requirements:

• VALID COUNTERBALANCE LICENCE AND FULL IRISH DRIVER LICENCE
• Manual handling certificate
• Previous, relevant warehouse experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Handheld scanner experience
• Strong motivation with a can-do attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
