In this role, you'll manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials and services, develop procurement strategies, and maintain strong supplier relationships. You'll work closely with internal teams, monitor inventory, and stay informed on market trends. You need to have a proactive, detail-focused mindset, strong communication and the ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to support organizational goals and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
- Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, from initial request through to contract closure and supplier performance evaluation.
- Source, assess, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and value.
- Lead negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms, and service-level agreements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand and align with their procurement requirements.
- Track market developments and industry trends to inform sourcing strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
- Further strong supplier partnerships to ensure consistent quality, innovation, and service delivery.
Requirements:
- Robust understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain operations.
- Comfortable using everyday business software like Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP or similar systems
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to build effective supplier relationships.
- Proven ability to lead and support a team.
- Sharp analytical thinking and a practical approach to solving problems.
- Comfortable working with different teams across the business.
