Role: Route Planner / Operations Administrator

Salary: €37k - €39k, depending on experience

Duration: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Work from Home (Dublin North)

Hours 2pm – 8pm

As a Route Planner and Operations Administrator, you will be the backbone that ensures the seamless movement of goods, acting as the bridge between the robust daytime routing team and the evening delivery forces. By joining this company’s ranks, you will not only steer clear routes for their dedicated fleet but will also have a pivotal role in shaping the future of their operational strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and allocate late orders post-business hours, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate online order placements during peak evening hours across all platforms.
• Manage the handover process with daytime routers, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Conduct regular reviews of haulage and stock levels, implementing necessary adjustments.
• Compile detailed reports spanning truck utilisation, fuel consumption, and delivery success rates.

Requirements

• Experience in Logistics and Business Administration, or a relevant field.
• Experience in route planning or logistics operations.
• Strong proficiency in route optimisation software and tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and team coordination abilities.
