Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Leading Irish transport & logistics company based in Ballymount is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to add to their esteemed team in South Dublin. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within the warehouse, therefore previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift within a warehouse setting, punctuality and dependability is desired.

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you are expected to hold valid Counterbalance Forklift and Manual Handling certificates. You will pick orders for dispatch, load/unload curtain-side trailers, and operate a Counterbalance Forklift with expertise. Proficiency in these areas will ensure you can effectively contribute to the efficiency and productivity of operations within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently loading & unloading stock using a forklift.
• Picking orders for dispatch.
• Transporting goods around the warehouse.
• Adhering to the company’s health and safety policy.
• Ensuring effective cross-department communications.
• Performing safety checks daily.
• Accurately document inventory.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift certificate.
• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Manual Handling certificate.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5:30 pm
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Great English communication skills.
• Exceptional time-management skills.
