Salary: €16 - €18 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

VNA Driver

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Driver to join a well-established logistics team in Dublin South West. This role is ideal for a highly skilled and safety-conscious driver who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position is being offered on a 6-month contract with the strong possibility of becoming a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse processes and supporting the team with stock movement, order picking, and ensuring all items are stored efficiently and safely. With a competitive hourly rate of €16p/h - €18p/h, this position offers a fantastic opportunity for those looking to further their career in the logistics industry.

Responsibilities:

• Operate VNA forklift trucks safely and efficiently in a warehouse setting.
• Manage stock placement and retrieval in very narrow aisles, ensuring maximum space utilisation.
• Pick and pack orders accurately according to specified requirements.
• Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the VNA equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Support warehouse operations with general duties when necessary.
• Liaise with warehouse supervisors and other team members to meet daily targets.
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory control processes.

Requirements:

• Valid and up-to-date VNA forklift licence.
• Previous experience operating a VNA forklift in a busy warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and stock handling.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing warehouse demands.
