Counterbalance and Reach Driver

Opportunity for a skilled Counterbalance and Reach Driver to join a dynamic team in South West Dublin. This position offers full-time hours and an excellent pay rate of €14.85 per hour. The role is ideal for an experienced driver who holds both Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licenses. Applicants must have up-to-date certifications, including Manual Handling.

This role requires individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, this position will involve the efficient and safe movement of stock within a warehouse environment, ensuring the correct handling and storage of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Counterbalance and Reach Forklifts to safely transport goods within the warehouse.
• Ensure accurate placement of stock in designated areas while maintaining the warehouse's organisational structure.
• Load and unload goods onto and off trucks or storage units, ensuring items are stored correctly.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, especially in manual handling and forklift operations.
• Perform routine checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks when needed, including inventory checks and picking orders for dispatch.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse colleagues to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

• Valid and up-to-date Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licences.
• Manual Handling certificate is essential.
• Previous experience working as a Counterbalance and Reach Driver in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols, particularly in forklift operations and manual handling.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling and placement.
• Flexibility to assist with other warehouse duties as required.
