Opportunity is for a reliable and dedicated Multi-Drop Van Driver in Dublin South West, who thrives in fast-paced settings and enjoys the flexibility of contract work. The role involves a balanced mix of residential and commercial deliveries, ensuring variety in each day. Operating within the Dublin South West area, drivers will work with a supportive team committed to achieving timely and efficient deliveries.

You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by handling deliveries swiftly and carefully. This role suits individuals with a strong work ethic, who are accustomed to high-volume delivery schedules and navigating urban areas.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily multi-drop deliveries across Dublin South West, focusing on both residential and commercial addresses.
• Load and unload the van efficiently, ensuring the correct packages are delivered to each address.
• Manage and optimise delivery routes using GPS tools to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch teams to provide updates on delivery status or report any delays.
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure safe handling of all goods and adherence to traffic regulations.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures, delivery notes, and any exceptions or issues.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Valid Irish driving licence (Category B) with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in multi-drop delivery roles, ideally within both residential and commercial sectors.
• Strong geographical knowledge of Dublin South West and the ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
• Ability to use a smart phone and applications such as google maps
• Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in verifying delivery information and keeping accurate records.
