The company are seeking an experienced Team Leader to step into a challenging yet rewarding position.

You will report directly to the Operations Manager and take charge of a team of general operatives. Your role will involve organising, delegating, and motivating team members to ensure efficient operations. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring a steady supply chain and addressing challenges proactively This is a hands-on position that requires exceptional leadership and organisational skills to manage the team’s daily activities effectively.

In this role, you’ll lead by example, inspiring your team to achieve their best while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily and real time performance to maintain service level standards and Key performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage key account performance and daily order processing functions for all customers.
• Collaborate with senior management to meet customers’ daily requirements.
• Ensure proper maintenance and correct usage of all equipment and MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
• Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for change.
• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil operational demand and meet daily targets.
• Work closely with other departments and head office specialists as and when needed to fulfil customer’s needs.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a busy Warehouse environment.
• Working knowledge of multiple Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Exceptional organisational abilities and a high sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Counterbalance Licence
