Role: Warehouse Team Leader

Salary: €35000-€40,000

Duration: Permanent.

Location: Rathcoole

Hours: Monday to Friday.

Warehouse Team Leader

Family-run business with over 40 years of industry experience is seeking an experienced Team Leader. If you take a hands-on approach, then this is the ideal company for you. As an experienced Team Leader, your duties will include leading a team to meet targets set out by Senior Management. Your role will involve a direct approach to ensure targets are completed in a timely manner. You will be involved in the organisation and management of staff to maximize resources. You will lead a committed team and play a critical role in driving commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards while achieving customer service targets.
• Create, monitor, and manage operational schedules in line with customer requirements.
• Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices.
• Consult closely with the Warehouse Manager to resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Ensure accurate handling of documentation, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Manage staff training and development, including performance reviews and goal setting.
• Maintain and promote the highest standards of health and safety throughout the operation.
• Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities and cycle counts.

Requirements:

• Manual Handling essential.
• Counterbalance License.
• Prior knowledge of operations and warehouse management
• Previous experience in a supervisory capacity
• In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Organisational and time-management skills
