Duration: Full-time permanent contract

Rigid Driver Multi Drops

Internationally renowned Fast-Moving Consumer Goods company is looking for a talented and dedicated Rigid truck driver to join their team in Dublin North. This position involves delivering goods to multiple locations throughout Dublin and Ireland, so previous experience with multi-drop deliveries in a rigid truck and familiarity with Irish roads are highly advantageous.

As a successful candidate, you must possess a valid C license, up-to-date CPC, and valid tachograph cards. Your work will be crucial to the company's efficient operations and client satisfaction. Responsibilities:

• Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Loading and Unloading goods in an organised and safe manner.
• Delivering a wide range of items to different addresses and through different routes, following the best practices in logistics and safety.
• Adhering to assigned routes and schedules while maintaining a flexible attitude towards unforeseen delays or changes.
• Collecting signatures and paperwork as proof of delivery and ensuring the accurate completion of all delivery documents.
• Providing exceptional service to customers and always maintaining professionalism.
• Complying with all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.

Requirements 

• Valid C-class Irish or EU driver's license.
• CPC & Tachograph cards essential.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
• Flexibility to work on a rotational basis, including weekends, as part of a 7-day operation.
• Proven experience as a multi-drop delivery driver or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Good geographical knowledge of the Dublin Region.
• Be physically fit and capable of unloading goods daily.
