Rigid Driver

Leading distributor in the food and beverage industry is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Rigid Driver to join the team based in Little Island, Cork. This is a full-time permanent role that involves working five days over a six-day roster, supporting a wide network of clients across Munster. With strong growth and a people-focused culture, this is a company that values commitment, reliability and a customer-centric attitude.

This is a physically demanding role that involves frequent manual handling, loading and unloading, and adhering to tight delivery schedules. It requires early starts and the ability to manage multi-drop deliveries efficiently to various establishments, including bars, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and nursing homes. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent time management skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries throughout the Munster region
• Ensure all products are delivered on time and in excellent condition
• Load and unload products, maintaining accurate delivery documentation
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at every delivery point
• Operate the vehicle safely and in accordance with road traffic laws and company procedures
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
• Support warehouse operations where necessary

Requirements:

• Full, valid Rigid (C) Driving Licence
• Current CPC certification and digital tachograph card
• Experience in a similar multi-drop delivery role
• Strong knowledge of the Munster area and routes
• Physically fit with the ability to handle a demanding workload
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible, reliable, and committed to high standards of customer service
