Warehouse Operative

Fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an experienced warehouse operative with a valid counterbalance and reach truck to join an established team in South Dublin. This position offers a role with daytime hours, Monday to Friday, ensuring a great work-life balance with no weekend work.

You will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders using Rf scanners, ensuring all items are correctly prepared for dispatch. You will also support the goods-in process by unloading deliveries, checking incoming stock, and storing items efficiently.

In addition to order fulfilment, you’ll assist with general warehouse duties such as stock replenishment, cycle counts, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the counterbalance forklift to efficiently load and unload goods as needed.
• Assist the inventory control team with activities, including cycle counts, stock takes, and other related tasks.
• Follow established procedures for receiving and dispatching goods to ensure accuracy.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organised yard and warehouse environment.
• Accurately pick and pack items using rf scanners.
• Verify all incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy and prevent incorrect items from being received into inventory.

Requirements:

• Valid counterbalance forklift certificate with proven operational experience.
• Reach truck license a must.
• Manual handling certificate preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations and/or a logistics environment.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and performing manual labour tasks efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
