Role: Facilities Technician
Salary: €50,000 – €56,000 per annum
Duration: Permanent, Full-Time

Proactive and hands-on Facilities Technician wanted to join a dynamic team based in North Dublin. This permanent role is ideal for a skilled technician with a background in electrical, plumbing, or mechanical disciplines. Working closely within a dedicated team of four, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks across a busy site.
This position is Monday to Friday, offering a stable work-life balance, with the potential for on-call duties—remunerated through additional call-out rates. You’ll bring practical, trade-based experience and a proactive attitude to ensure high standards of service delivery. Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across mechanical and electrical systems.
- Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues efficiently and safely.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks as required.
- Assist in fault-finding and diagnostics for building systems and equipment.
- Ensure all works comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Maintain records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with a team of four technicians to ensure smooth site operations.
- Support site-wide improvements in facility reliability and performance.
- Participate in an on-call rota, with additional pay for call-outs.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers when necessary.
Requirements:
- A full or partial trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience in facilities, maintenance, or technical roles.
- Strong hands-on skills with a practical, solution-focused approach.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Flexibility to respond to on-call duties when scheduled.
- Commitment to safe working practices and regulatory compliance.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
