Rigid Truck Driver
Opportunity for a Rigid Truck Driver holding a full EU Category C licence to join a well-established logistics and courier company based in North Dublin.

You will be responsible for the distribution and delivery of goods in a business-to-business (B2B) environment. The role involves multi-drop deliveries across Dublin and the wider Leinster region, requiring efficiency, punctuality, and adherence to all road safety regulations and company policies.
If you hold a counter-balance forklift licence, you may also assist with warehouse operations, adding variety to your day-to-day work. You’ll be expected to carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure your truck is roadworthy, clean, and fully compliant before departure.
As a driver, you represent the company on the road and in front of clients, so excellent customer service skills are essential. A professional and courteous manner is expected at all times, ensuring each interaction reflects the company’s commitment to quality and reliability. Clear communication with dispatch, team members, and customers will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Complete multi-drop deliveries across Dublin and the Leinster region, ensuring all goods are delivered securely and on time.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet schedules and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, team members, and customers.
- Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies, including tachograph and CPC compliance.
- Operate forklifts safely and professionally within the warehouse (if licenced).
Requirements
- Full, clean EU Category C licence.
- Valid and up-to-date CPC and tachograph cards.
- A counter-balance forklift licence is a strong advantage.
- Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery role is beneficial.
- Valid EU passport or work permit.
- Good standard of spoken English and strong interpersonal skills.
