Reporting into senior management, the Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process. Core duties include raising and chasing purchase orders using Sage ERP, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for driving procurement efficiency while supporting broader business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchasing lifecycle from supplier engagement to order completion
- Raise, track, and chase purchase orders using Sage ERP
- Develop and maintain strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships
- Support senior management with procurement reporting and insights
- Handle supplier negotiations with confidence and professionalism
- Liaise with both purchasing and sales departments to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting demand
- Participate in the annual in-person stock audit and contribute to accuracy improvements
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance procurement workflows
- Engage with external partners and logistics teams to coordinate timely deliveries
Requirements:
- Experience in a procurement, purchasing, or similar fast-paced environment
- Confidence using Sage ERP and the ability to adapt quickly to other business systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Collaborative attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High level of accuracy in maintaining records and managing data
