Warehouse Operative

Respected machinery distributor is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Warehouse Operative to assist with the picking and packing of machinery parts and components. This role plays an essential part in supporting smooth and timely order fulfilment to clients across the country

You will bring previous experience in warehouse operations, particularly within a technical or mechanical environment. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, with a strong likelihood of securing a permanent contract for individuals who demonstrate consistent reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack machinery parts accurately based on order requirements
• Use handheld scanners to process orders and track stock movement
• Ensure high standards of accuracy and attention to detail are met at all times
• Carefully package items to prevent damage during transit
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily output targets
• Support other general warehouse duties as required

Key Requirements:

• Prior experience in picking and packing roles within a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with handheld scanners or similar technology
• Ability to follow instructions with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling mechanical parts
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving warehouse
• Reliable and punctual, with a full-time availability from Monday to Friday (08:30–17:00)
