Salary: €46,000 per annum + €13.17 daily meal allowance

Well-established, worldwide organisation operating at the heart of Ireland’s fast moving logistics sector are on the lookout for a Rigid Driver. Based in the Dublin 15 area, the company supports a wide network of clients who rely on dependable, efficient and customer focused delivery services. They are seeking a skilled individual who takes pride in their work, values professionalism and enjoys being part of a team that keeps essential operations moving every day.
You will play a central role in ensuring products reach customers safely, on time and in excellent condition. You’ll be a key point of contact for many clients, so your approachability and reliability will matter just as much as your driving skills. This is a role where you’ll be trusted to work independently while still being part of a supportive, collaborative team. The schedule operates on a 5‑over‑7 basis, meaning you’ll work every second weekend but enjoy two days off during the week, which is ideal for balancing work with personal commitments. Responsibilities
- Carry out daily deliveries across assigned routes, ensuring all goods are delivered safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients at point of delivery.
- Complete all necessary paperwork; including delivery dockets and vehicle checklists, accurately and on time.
- Conduct pre‑departure and end‑of‑shift vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance standards.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations, company policies and industry best practices.
- Handle products with care, ensuring correct loading, unloading and securing of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding route updates, delays or issues.
Requirements
- Full valid C licence.
- Tachograph card.
- Up to Date CPC certification.
- Previous experience in a rigid driving role and at least 1 year experience with multi-drop deliveries is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of road safety, vehicle checks and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work a 5‑over‑7 schedule, including every second weekend.
- Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently.
