Rigid Driver

 Leading distribution provider is seeking a reliable and professional Rigid Driver to join their growing team. This role offers independence on the road, long-term stability and the chance to represent a respected national brand every day. If you hold a valid Category C licence, up-to-date CPC and a digital tachograph card, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a steady Monday–Friday position with strong earning potential.

Your day starts at 8:00am at the distribution centre, where you’ll complete a thorough vehicle safety check (approx. 30 minutes). Once ready, you will load your own rigid truck, preparing 10–15 scheduled deliveries made up of a mix of cartons and pallets. Each delivery is carried out with care, efficiency and a strong focus on safety. Once your route is complete, your day is finished, no second runs and no weekend work, supporting an ideal work–life balance. You’ll take home €800 net per week.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle safety inspections
• Carry out up to 15 accurate, safe multi-drop deliveries
• Handle all goods responsibly and safely at each customer stop
• Drive in full compliance with company standards and road safety legislation
• Use handheld technology to scan, record and confirm deliveries
• Provide friendly, reliable, customer-focused service at every point of contact

Requirements

• Full, valid Category C licence
• Up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph card
• Ability to pass a company driving assessment
• Fit to complete routine workplace health screening
• Multi-drop experience is an advantage but not essential
• Reliable, organised, proactive and confident in problem-solving
