Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Leading distribution company in Dublin 22 is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their friendly, close‑knit warehouse team. You will be an essential part in the daily flow of the warehouse. You’ll handle incoming deliveries, operate a counterbalance forklift, pick and pack customer orders with accuracy, manage stock movement and support general warehouse duties to keep everything running like clockwork. Responsibilities:

• Confidently and safely operate counterbalance forklifts
• Use reach trucks as needed to support warehouse tasks
• Efficiently unload lorries and trailers, including heavier or bulkier loads
• Check and confirm incoming stock, delivery notes and manifests with strong attention to detail
• Move, organise and store materials in the correct warehouse locations
• Handle, label and position stock properly to maintain accuracy and order
• Maintain excellent safety, cleanliness and housekeeping standards across the warehouse
• Roll up your sleeves and get involved in the physical, hands‑on work required in a busy warehouse
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to keep operations running smoothly

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of proven experience leading teams in a warehouse or supervisory setting
• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence required; reach certification is a strong plus
• Excellent communication abilities paired with confident, effective leadership
• Skilled at organising workloads, monitoring performance and keeping operations on track
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices within a warehouse environment
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-moving operational setting
• Dependable, well‑organised, and proactive with strong problem‑solving skills
• A positive, people-focused mindset with the ability to inspire and develop others
• Willingness to take on a range of warehouse tasks when needed
