Thriving distribution business is seeking a reliable Rigid Driver to join its expanding transport team. Operating within a fast-paced, business-to-business pallet delivery environment, this role is essential to ensuring goods are delivered efficiently and on time to commercial clients across Dublin and surrounding areas. The organisation has built a strong reputation for service quality and continues to invest in its logistics operations and workforce.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver seeking stability and a strong weekly income, alongside a structured Monday to Friday schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for multi-drop pallet deliveries, working independently while remaining closely supported by an experienced transport team. With clearly planned routes and a focus on operational efficiency, this role provides consistency, job security and long-term prospects within a growing distribution business.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to business customers
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within scheduled timeframes
• Load and unload pallets safely using manual handling equipment such as pallet trucks
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company procedures
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at all delivery points
• Comply with all road transport regulations and tachograph laws
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely
• Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding schedules and issues

Requirements:

• Full Category C (Rigid) driving licence – essential
• Valid and up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) – essential
• Valid and up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card – essential
• Previous experience in multi-drop or pallet distribution preferred
• Good knowledge of Dublin and surrounding road networks
• Strong awareness of road safety and compliance regulations
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
