Rigid Truck Driver

Rigid Truck Driver needed for a Dublin 15–based logistics provider seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organisation offering long-term employment in a supportive environment. Applicants must hold a valid Category C licence, Driver CPC and digital Tachograph card.

You will be responsible for delivering palletised goods using a rigid truck, completing multi-drop deliveries across Dublin and the wider Leinster region. The role operates Monday to Friday, typically 8:00am to 5:30pm and requires strong time management, route planning and strict adherence to road safety and company procedures.

You will also be expected to carry out daily vehicle checks, ensuring your truck is roadworthy, clean and compliant at all times. As a key representative of the business, you will interact with customers daily, so a professional manner, clear communication and a strong customer-focused attitude are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Complete multi-drop deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
• Load and unload palletised goods safely
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues
• Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented
• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
• Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
• Communicate effectively with transport team and customers

Requirements:

• Valid EU Category C (Rigid) licence
• Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification
• Valid digital Tachograph (Tacho) card
• Previous experience in multi-drop deliveries (preferred)
• Good knowledge of Dublin and surrounding routes
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Good communication skills, particularly when coordinating with colleagues and drivers
• Flexibility to support different areas of the warehouse as required
