Role: Van Driver
Salary: €35,000 – €36,000
Duration: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Citywest

Hours: Monday to Friday, minimum 37.5 hours per week
Start Time: Typically, 8:00am
Finish Time: Usually around 3:00pm depending on traffic and delivery schedules

Van Driver

Dublin-based company is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join a busy distribution team delivering products to cafés, coffee shops, bars, and hospitality customers across Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, working independently and building positive relationships with customers..

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service at each stop. The role involves loading and unloading stock, delivering boxes into customer premises and ensuring all deliveries are accurately scanned and recorded using handheld scanning devices. Routes are planned across Dublin city and surrounding areas, with working hours designed to support a strong work-life balance.

This position would suit someone with previous van driving or delivery experience who is confident navigating Dublin roads and comfortable working in a physically active role. Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude are essential, as the driver will represent the company during daily customer interactions. Full training on company systems and handheld scanners will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily delivery routes across Dublin
• Deliver products safely and efficiently to cafés, bars and shops
• Load and unload delivery vans as required
• Carry boxes and stock into customer premises
• Use handheld scanners to record deliveries accurately
• Ensure all paperwork and delivery records are completed correctly
• Maintain high standards of customer service at all times
• Drive safely and follow all road traffic regulations
• Keep the company vehicle clean and well maintained
• Communicate effectively with the operations and warehouse teams

Requirements

• Full clean EU driving licence essential
• Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience preferred
• Confident driving a van throughout Dublin
• Comfortable carrying boxes and handling deliveries manually
• Experience using handheld scanners desirable
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily routes effectively
