Salary: €30,000 – 32,000 per year

Order Picker 

Order Picker needed for fresh produce company based in North County Dublin. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with an immediate start available for the right candidate. The role is based on a 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, starting at 8am.

The role will involve working as part of a busy dispatch and production team within a warehouse of approximately 70 staff, primarily across fruit and vegetable operations. Reporting directly to a manager, you will carry out general operative and order picking duties along with accurate labelling of products. Full training will be provided on internal systems, including labelling procedures. While forklift experience is not required, it would be considered an advantage.

You will be outlining and carrying out key responsibilities across order assembly, labelling and quality checks, ensuring all goods are prepared and dispatched in line with company and customer standards. A good level of English is essential due to labelling and documentation requirements.

The role involves some manual handling, so candidates should be comfortable with physical work.

You will need to have great attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to work both independently & as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment..

Responsibilities

• Print all labels correctly for Production, Order Assembly and Goods Inwards
• Pick and assemble daily orders in line with customer specifications
• Ensure all products are correctly labelled and meet customer requirements
• Check, complete and sign off all product and associated paperwork
• Maintain traceability standards and labelling accuracy (knowledge an advantage)
• Grade, sort and pack products for dispatch
• Complete daily production and quality control documentation
• Adhere to a “clean as you go” policy to maintain hygiene and facility standards

Requirements

• Manual Handling Certificate
• Basic computer literacy
• Fluent English
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of traceability coding and labelling
