Counterbalance & Bendi Driver

Counterbalance & Bendi Driver required for a global paint and coatings company based in Dublin 22. Candidates must have warehouse experience, a valid counterbalance forklift licence and an in-date manual handling certificate. A Bendi licence is desirable but not essential.

This is a hands-on role in a busy warehouse environment, working as part of a small, reliable team. You will support day-to-day operations, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time.

You will be responsible for day-to-day warehouse activities including unloading deliveries, verifying goods against documentation and placing stock in designated storage locations. You will pick, prepare and dispatch customer orders accurately, ensuring deadlines are met. Maintaining stock accuracy will be important, including identifying discrepancies, rotating stock correctly and reporting any damaged or outdated items. Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with safety standards will form a core part of your daily duties.

You will assist with customer-facing tasks when required, such as supporting order queries and product preparation. You will follow all health and safety guidelines, including the proper handling of hazardous materials and responding appropriately to any incidents. You will also support general warehouse upkeep and participate in regular stock checks, working closely with colleagues, suppliers and customers to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify incoming deliveries against delivery notes
• Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately for dispatch
• Operate forklift equipment to load and unload vehicles safely
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damages or discrepancies
• Rotate stock and ensure materials are stored correctly
• Adhere to all health, safety and hazardous materials procedures
• Assist with customer orders and overall warehouse activities

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Valid counterbalance forklift licence
• Valid and in-date manual handling certificate
• Bendi forklift licence (desirable, not essential)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, warehouse systems)
