Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00

Reach Forklift Operator

Major player within the FMCG sector is seeking an experienced Reach Forklift Operator to join its busy warehouse operation in Dublin 24. The company operates within a demanding environment and is looking for a reliable individual to become part of its hardworking team. The successful candidate will be a team player who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and efficiency.

You will be responsible for the safe receipt, storage and dispatch of stock while ensuring all health and safety procedures. Operating a Reach Forklift Truck as part of the warehouse team, you will assist with the movement and storage of stock and help ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and ready for dispatch in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Reach Forklift Truck safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Load, unload and move stock within the facility.
• Store products accurately within designated warehouse locations.
• Support goods-in and goods-out activities.
• Carry out stock replenishment to ensure products are available for order picking.
• Assist with order picking and dispatch duties as required.
• Use warehouse management systems to maintain accurate stock records.
• Perform stock checks and assist in resolving stock discrepancies.
• Follow all food safety, health and safety and warehouse procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Support colleagues across warehouse operations as required.

Requirements:

• Valid Reach Forklift Licence.
• Previous experience operating a Reach Forklift Truck in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems is desirable.
• Good understanding of stock control and warehouse processes.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Understanding of food safety standards is advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a challenging environment.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
