Salary: €15.00 - €16.00 per hour

Duration: Permanent

Location: Lusk, Dublin

Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 12:00am

 

Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

 

Join a recognised freights business In the Dublin Lusk area as a Forklift / Warehouse Operative. Operating within a demanding environment, the company is known for delivering dependable services and maintaining high standards across all areas of the business. They are seeking a motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work and can make a positive contribution within a busy warehouse setting.

 

You will play an important role in the flow of warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, handled and dispatched safely and accurately. Supporting stock movements, order preparation and loading activities, you will help maintain high standards across the operation while ensuring customer requirements are met on time.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
  • Carry out order picking, packing and scanning duties.
  • Load and unload vehicles accurately and safely.
  • Complete relevant paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks and report any defects.
  • Report any stock discrepancies, damages or shortages.
  • Support goods-in and goods-out activities.
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational targets.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of two years' forklift experience within a busy warehouse environment.
  • Valid and in-date Forklift Licence.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive and proactive approach to work.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume operation.
  • GDP and HACCP training would be advantageous.
