Role: Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Operator

Salary: €16.50 per hour

Duration: Permanent

Location: Dublin 22

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm

Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Operator

Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Operator required for a well-established wholesaler In the Dublin 22 area. The company is recognised for its quality products, dependable service and high operational standards. You must hold valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Licences, along with a current Manual Handling Certificate. You should also be IT literate, comfortable using scanning equipment and have previous experience working within a warehouse environment.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the warehouse operates smoothly and efficiently. Working with both Counterbalance & Reach Forklifts, you'll be responsible for moving goods safely and accurately throughout the warehouse. You’ll maintaining stock accuracy, supporting the timely fulfilment of customer orders and ensuring products are picked and prepared for dispatch on schedule.

You'll be part of a fast-paced warehouse team where accuracy, teamwork and customer service are at the heart of everything you do. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic and commitment to safe working practices will help ensure every order is picked and dispatched accurately, customers receive the right products on time and the warehouse continues to operate efficiently and successfully..

Responsibilities:

• Operate Counterbalance and Reach Forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Move and store stock within designated warehouse locations.
• Scan products and update stock movements using warehouse systems.
• Prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load products onto vehicles accurately and securely.
• Assist with goods-in and goods-out activities.
• Maintain accurate stock records.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures.
• Support general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Valid Reach Forklift Licence.
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
• Previous experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach Forklifts.
• IT skills and experience using warehouse scanning systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work.
