Role:    Rigid Driver (Full EU C Licence)

Salary: €700p/w

Duration: Eleven Days Over Fourteen Rota

Location: Cork - Fermoy

Rigid Driver

Opportunity for an experienced Rigid Driver to join a dynamic fast growing Oil distribution company in Cork Fermoy. Delivering oil to both commercial and residential homes. With the level of diversity in cliental the role requires a skilled driver who has strong customer services skills and the ability to work in a team and independently whilst managing their time and routes.

The role requires a proactive approach with driver expected to identify potential business opportunities and communicate these to the Sales and Operations manager. Due to operational requirements and occasional shifts at other branches, successful candidates would ideally have their own mode of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Rigid truck to deliver oil and fuel to residential and commercial customers.
• Organise and sequence deliveries before leaving the depot
• Complete deliveries across Cork - Fermoy and surrounding areas
• Follow numbered drop schedules accurately and efficiently
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations
• Identify potential sales opportunities and communicate these to sale/operation managers.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and proof of delivery

Requirements

• Full EU Category C driving licence
• Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• Available to work weekends and at other locations if required.
• Experience driving in Ireland, the UK or another left side driving country preferred
• Strong understanding of road safety and compliance requirements
• HazChem (ADR) qualification essential but training provided
• Reliable, punctual and well organised
• Professional attitude with strong customer service skills
