Duration: Five Days Over Seven Rota

Are you an experienced Rigid driver who enjoys being out on the road, meeting new people and building great relationships with customers? If you are looking for a role that offers variety, independence and opportunity to represent a respected Irish food and beverage distributor, this could the perfect fit.

Based in North Dublin, this position involves delivering food and beverage products to bars, restaurants, cafes and hospitality venues across Dublin and surrounding arears. With different routes, customer and delivery locations keeping the role varied and engaging.

The role is physically active and suited to someone who enjoys being hands on, with regular lifting, carrying and manual handling throughout the day. Drivers typically complete between 10 to 15 deliveries daily.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a rigid vehicle in accordance with road traffic legislation and company procedures
• Organise and sequence deliveries before leaving the depot each morning
• Complete deliveries across Dublin and surrounding areas
• Follow numbered drop schedules accurately and efficiently
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations
• Lift, carry, pull and manoeuvre boxes from the truck into customer premises
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and proof of delivery

Requirements

• Full EU Category C driving licence
• Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• Experience driving a right-hand steer vehicle on the left-hand side of the road
• Experience driving in Ireland, the UK or another left-side driving country preferred
• Strong understanding of road safety and compliance requirements
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Reliable, punctual and well organised
• Professional attitude with strong customer service skills
