Location: Dublin 15
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance)
Industrial supplier in Dublin 15 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join its busy operations team. This opportunity is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in goods-in, goods-out, order picking and stock control who enjoys a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Working with a wide range of products, from small components to larger industrial materials, you'll play an important role in ensuring stock is received, stored and dispatched accurately. As part of a close-knit team, you'll help maintain the smooth flow of daily warehouse activities while supporting high standards of efficiency and organisation.
In addition to Counterbalance Forklift operation, you'll be actively involved in order picking, packing, stock movements, pallet breakdown and general warehouse duties. This is a varied position that would suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys a physical role and can confidently balance forklift responsibilities with day-to-day warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Accurately pick customer orders using delivery dockets.
- Process goods-in and goods-out activities.
- Break down and process inbound pallet deliveries.
- Put stock away accurately using warehouse systems.
- Move stock throughout the warehouse as required.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management.
- Handle a mixture of large and small industrial products.
- Maintain warehouse organisation and housekeeping standards.
- Support colleagues in achieving daily operational targets.
- Adhere to all company Health & Safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
- Previous experience within a busy warehouse environment.
- Strong order picking and stock handling experience.
- Good verbal and written English.
- Reliable and hardworking approach.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties throughout the day.
- Experience balancing forklift duties with general warehouse responsibilities.
