We are seeking experienced Artic Drivers to join a reputable logistics company. This role is ideal for professional drivers with a valid EU or Irish CE license who are looking to advance their careers in a dynamic and growing sector.
Experienced Artic Drivers wanted to join a reputable logistics company in Dublin 12. This role is ideal for professional drivers with a valid EU or Irish CE license who are seeking night shift work. Drivers will start between 20:30 and 00:30 depending on their route, with routes varying between 7 and 10 hours in duration. You will be rostered for 5 days over 7 with 2 days off per week and paid for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
This role requires individuals who are confident driving on the left side of the road and have the necessary qualifications, including an up-to-date CPC and Tachograph card. Experience with tail lifts is beneficial, but not mandatory. You should also have excellent communication skills to ensure you can offer a high standard of service. Responsibilities:
- Transport goods to various destinations following assigned routes.
- Operate and manage an Artic truck, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Use a tail lift effectively to load and unload goods.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately.
- Communicate efficiently with dispatch and other team members.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the truck.
Requirements:
- Valid EU or Irish CE driving license.
- Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Tachograph card.
- Experience driving on the left side of the road and handling a right-hand steer truck.
- Previous experience operating a tail lift is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including night shifts, with the first truck leaving at 20:30 and the last truck departing at 00:30.
- Capable of working 5 days over 7 with 2 days off per week.
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
