Are you a qualified Rigid Driver looking for your next challenge?

Renowned FMCG company is seeking to hire an experienced Rigid Driver to join their team in Cork to perform multi-drop deliveries across the county. This position is an opportunity to be a vital part of supporting the supply chain of the food and drink industry across Ireland.

You should have a full, clean C-class Irish or EU Driver’s license, valid CPC and Tachograph card. You should be based in Ireland and be confident driving on the left-hand side of the road. This is an excellent opportunity for any drivers who wish to further their experience in a company that fosters growth. Punctuality, reliability and solid English communication skills are a must for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Performing multi drop deliveries as required.
• Unloading the truck with care.
• Adhering to traffic laws as well as the company’s safety policy.
• Arriving on time to the designated drop zones.
• Being courteous and respectful to clients.
• Planning routes ahead of time to ensure punctual deliveries.
• Performing vehicle inspections before and after use.

Requirements:

• Being based in Ireland and confidence driving on the left-hand side of the road.
• CPC & Tachograph cards, and a full C-Class Irish/EU License.
• Previous experience safely driving rigid trucks.
• Proven experience performing multi-drop deliveries.
• Knowledge of Irish roads and routes around the country.
• Excellent punctuality and communication skills.
