Salary: €14.80 per hour

Duration: Contract.

Location: Ballymount.

Hours: Monday to Friday.

Counterbalance/Reach Operator

Leading Construction Distribution Company are seeking an Experienced Counterbalance and Reach Operator. Join a team that offers excellence and a serious commitment to safety and who have been involved in the building of some of Irelands newest projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a mixed role whether that is either loading vehicles or assisting in general warehouse duties.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Operator of both Reach and Counterbalance, with a strong focus on being dependable and eager to learn new skills.. You will be responsible for loading and unloading, moving goods safely, and maintaining inventory accuracy.  You will operate the reach truck to perform tasks such as pallet put away, picking and packing. The role requires a keen eye for safety and the ability to handle goods efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading materials from incoming vehicles.
• Picking goods with the RF Scanner Via Counterbalance.
• Assist the Goods In team with consolidating Stock when required.
• Operating the Reach Truck to perform general duties such as put away.
• Ensuring safe operation in compliance with the companies’ procedures.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist in other General warehouse duties as and when required.

Requirements:

• Manual Handling Certificate Essential.
• Counterbalance License Essential.
• Reach Truck License Cert a Must.
• Previous experience in the construction industry a distinct advantage
• Excellent Communication.
• Experience working in a warehousing and yard environment.
