Counterbalance Operator

Exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Counterbalance Operator to join a fast-paced distribution facility based in Santry. This permanent, full-time role offers a Monday to Friday day shift, making it ideal for those seeking a better work-life balance without compromising on earnings or career growth.

You will work in a thriving warehouse environment, responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and handling of goods within both the inbound and outbound operations. With a strong focus on pick and pack duties as well as goods in/goods out, this role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with solid forklift experience and a proactive work ethic.

Duties will include operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load and unload deliveries, managing stock movements within the warehouse, picking and packing customer orders with accuracy, and maintaining clean and organised work areas. Working closely with warehouse teams, you will demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills while adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Your someone who thrives in a structured environment and takes pride in working efficiently and accurately. You should bring previous experience in a similar logistics or warehouse setting, hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence, and be comfortable working on their feet throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles
• Carry out accurate picking and packing of goods based on order requirements
• Manage goods in and goods out, including checking deliveries and dispatching items
• Maintain warehouse organisation and cleanliness
• Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and dispatch teams
• Carry out stock rotation and ensure stock integrity
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
• Complete relevant paperwork and system updates as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential
• Experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role
• Proven experience in pick, pack, goods in, and goods out operations
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently and follow structured procedures
• Comfortable with manual handling and working in a busy environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
