You will partner with the procurement director to ensure excellence in procurement processes and performance across Ireland. Your responsibilities include managing sourcing and tendering activities, monitoring procurement KPIs, assessing commodity risks, analysing sustainability data and maintaining clear communication with internal teams and external partners. You will have strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyse supplier bids, assist in selection and contribute to negotiation strategies.
- Collaborate with the sourcing team to optimise processes and maintain high operational standards.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track procurement KPIs.
- Provide leadership with regular updates on procurement performance and identify trends for improvement.
- Define and configure KPIs aligned with business objectives, monitor results and ensure timely corrective actions with teams and suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights.
- Gather and analyse sustainability-related data from suppliers and procurement activities.
- Partner with stakeholders to advance sustainable procurement practices.
- Draft and distribute procurement newsletters to internal audiences.
- Manage internal and external communications to ensure clarity and consistency.
Requirements
- Experience in procurement role in a face paced environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualisation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Customer-focused, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs.
- Demonstrates accountability and ownership of outcomes.
- Solid financial acumen to support data-driven decision-making.
- Action-oriented and proactive in addressing challenges.
