You will be responsible for managing procurement and planning to ensure materials are available in the right quantity, at the right time, and at the most competitive cost. You will develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate effectively and drive continuous improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability across the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end purchasing process, continuously identifying opportunities to streamline systems and workflows.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier partnerships, ensuring optimal performance and collaboration on forecasting, purchase orders and invoicing.
- Manage all aspects of Purchase Orders, including creation, submission, tracking, updates and closure.
- Plan and forecast material requirements using ERP/MRP platforms
- Ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of materials, supporting operational needs without delays.
- Maintain accurate item master data in SAP, keeping records current and compliant with internal standards.
- Prepare and present supplier performance scorecards, leading regular review meetings to communicate forecasts and production requirements.
- Monitor supplier KPIs, escalate issues promptly and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Handle administrative tasks, including processing vendor returns and resolving purchase order or invoice discrepancies.
Requirements
- Experience in procurement, materials planning or supply chain operations.
- Hands-on expertise with ERP/MRP systems.
- Exceptional analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
