A well‑known specialist company based in Dublin 22 is looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team on a permanent basis. This position suits someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, values accuracy, and wants a secure role within a busy, organised warehouse environment.

You will support the smooth daily operation of the warehouse, taking responsibility for goods-in processing, forklift driving, order picking and packing, stock handling, and general site assistance. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics setting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Confidently and safely operate counterbalance forklifts
  • Use reach trucks as needed to support warehouse tasks
  • Efficiently unload lorries and trailers, including heavier or bulkier loads
  • Check and confirm incoming stock, delivery notes and manifests with strong attention to detail
  • Move, organise and store materials in the correct warehouse locations
  • Handle, label and position stock properly to maintain accuracy and order
  • Maintain excellent safety, cleanliness and housekeeping standards across the warehouse
  • Roll up your sleeves and get involved in the physical, hands‑on work required in a busy warehouse
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to keep operations running smoothly

Candidate Requirements

  • Valid counterbalance forklift licence
  • Reach truck licence or experience is a strong advantage
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution or logistics setting
  • Excellent attention to detail when reviewing stock and paperwork
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑focused approach
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work on your own initiative
