you will oversee and enhance its procurement, stock management and supply chain operations. Youll be responsible for ensuring efficient purchasing processes, maintaining accurate inventory oversight and fostering strong relationships with suppliers. This role requires you to be a strategic thinker with strong communication abilities, substantial experience in inventory management and the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage all procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating and contracting with suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality, reliability and value.
  • Monitor supplier performance and lead costsaving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Analyse purchasing trends to forecast demand and optimise ordering cycles.
  • Oversee daily inventory operations across multiple locations and product lines.
  • Implement and maintain efficient stock control systems to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business growth and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure effective communication, workflow and alignment across the organisation.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliation processes to maintain accurate and reliable inventory records.
  • Streamline inventory management processes through automation and continuous system improvements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and prepare detailed performance and costanalysis reports for senior management.
  • Act as the primary liaison between management and suppliers to support strategic sourcing and longterm planning.

 

Requirements

  • Experience in inventory, procurement or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of software systems, including ERP platforms or equivalent tools.
  • Solid computer literacy with advanced capability in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationshipbuilding abilities.
  • A strategic mindset focused on efficiency, problemsolving, and continuous improvement.
  • Highly organised, detaildriven and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
