Warehouse Manager

Market‑leading technical component supplier is seeking a Warehouse Manager to support its busy, fast‑paced operations across two Dublin sites. The company runs well‑organised but consistently active warehouses, supplying a wide range of industrial clients and maintaining a strong reputation for reliability, efficiency and hands‑on service. With steady year‑round demand, the business offers a stable setting for someone who enjoys being close to daily operations and driving smooth warehouse flow.

You’ll lead an eight‑person warehouse team across two nearby sites, taking a hands‑on leadership role that keeps both locations running smoothly. Most of your week will be spent at the main site - around four and a half days - with a short visit of roughly half a day each week to the second site. The sites are only a short distance apart, making movement between them straightforward. This is a practical, on‑the‑floor position rather than an office‑based management job, involving a balanced mix of supervision, coordination and light physical work. You’ll oversee stock movement between both locations, support container unloading, help plan stock locations and ensure the overall rhythm of the warehouse stays on track. Both sites are compact but well organised, with racking, forklifts and a WMS stock system in place. You’ll have access to warehouse computers as well as quiet office space when needed.

Responsibilities

 Lead and supervise an eight‑person warehouse team across two sites.

• Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and stock movement.
• Coordinate the unloading of containers and organisation of incoming goods.
• Manage stock transfers between both locations and maintain accurate stock records.
• Plan stock locations and optimise warehouse layout for efficiency.
• Ensure health, safety and housekeeping standards are consistently met.
• Provide hands‑on support on the floor when required, including occasional heavy lifting.
• Liaise with office and management teams to maintain smooth operational communication.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong hands‑on leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to manage workflow, prioritise tasks and maintain high accuracy.
• Comfortable with a mix of supervision and some physical work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a busy team.
• Experience with stock control or warehouse systems (INTAC beneficial but not essential).
• Reliable, organised and capable of working independently across two sites.
• Full, clean driving licence is essential due to travel between locations.
