Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Trusted provider in the protective coatings industry based in Dublin 24 is seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their fast‑moving and supportive warehouse team. This role is an excellent fit for someone who enjoys working in a busy distribution environment and wants to contribute to a company known for reliability, quality, and strong customer service. A valid, in‑date Counterbalance license is essential. While Reach or Bendi certification is beneficial, it is not required. Previous experience in a high‑paced warehouse or distribution setting is also necessary.

In this role, you will operate the Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently while unloading and loading trucks, supporting order picking, and helping maintain the smooth daily flow of warehouse operations. You will play an important part in keeping the warehouse organised by placing products in their correct locations and reorganising mixed pallets to ensure they are ready for accurate and timely dispatch. You will also assist with stock control, using handheld scanners to check, record and update inventory to keep data up to date.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the Counterbalance Forklift for unloading and loading trucks.
• Assist with order picking and general day‑to‑day warehouse duties.
• Store products in their correct locations to maintain an organised warehouse layout.
• Reorganise mixed pallets where required to ensure efficient and accurate dispatch.
• Use handheld scanning devices to check, record and update stock levels.
• Support overall stock control by helping maintain accurate and up‑to‑date inventory records.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to maintain smooth operations and high safety standards.

Requirements:

• Valid, in‑date Counterbalance Forklift license (essential).
• Reach or Bendi license preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in a fast‑paced warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of safe forklift operation and warehouse health & safety practices.
• Ability to use handheld scanners or basic warehouse management systems.
• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of manual lifting when required.
