Warehouse Operative
Leading third‑party logistics and fulfilment provider is seeking a talented Warehouse Operative to join our fast‑growing high‑energy team. This role goes beyond moving stock – you’ll be an essential part of a well‑run customer‑focused operation where teamwork and precision matter. You’ll work with modern systems, efficient processes and supportive colleagues who value reliability and take pride in their work. A valid counterbalance licence and an in‑date manual handling certificate are required. You will be responsible for picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and on time, as well as receiving, unloading and storing incoming stock. You will handle goods‑in and check for any damaged or missing items, reporting discrepancies promptly. You will operate forklifts safely and responsibly, with training provided where needed. You will help maintain a clean well‑organised warehouse that meets all health and safety requirements, while supporting regular stock takes and overall inventory management. Throughout your work you will follow standard operating procedures and company policies and consistently meet productivity and performance targets.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Receive, unload and store incoming stock
- Check for damaged or missing items and report any issues
- Operate Forklifts safely
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Assist with regular stock takes and inventory control
- Follow all company procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Meet daily productivity and performance targets
Requirements
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence
- In‑date manual handling certificate
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically active environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines
