Warehouse Operative
High performing supply company supporting trade professionals across Ireland is looking for a Warehouse Operative to strengthen its Dublin warehouse team. By keeping stock organised, handling goods carefully and supporting day‑to‑day warehouse activities, you help the company operate smoothly and maintain its strong reputation with customers across Ireland. A valid counterbalance forklift licence along with up‑to‑date manual handling certification is essential, as you’ll be responsible for the safe movement and organisation of a wide range of trade and industrial products, including tools, equipment and other materials commonly used in construction, engineering and maintenance sectors.
You will play a key role in keeping the warehouse running efficiently every day. From handling incoming deliveries to moving stock safely with a counterbalance forklift, you’ll help maintain a steady, reliable workflow that supports the entire business. You’ll pick and pack orders with accuracy, maintain organised stock levels, and get involved in general warehouse duties to ensure everything stays safe, tidy and on track.
Your work will keep products moving, customers satisfied and the wider team operating at full speed. As the pace of the day shifts, you’ll be the steady pair of hands that keeps everything flowing — helping deliver the high‑quality service that customers nationwide depend on.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load and unload stock.
Support warehouse tasks using other equipment (such as reach trucks) when required.
Receive and check incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes and manifests.
Pick, pack and prepare customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
Organise, label and store products correctly to maintain an efficient warehouse layout.
Handle a variety of trade and industrial products used across construction, engineering and maintenance sectors.
Maintain excellent safety, cleanliness and housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
Assist with general physical warehouse duties as needed in a fast‑moving environment.
Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Requirements:
Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
Up‑to‑date manual handling certification.
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar hands‑on environment.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and safety.
Reliable, punctual and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
Willingness to follow all health, safety and operational procedures.
