Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Finglas‑based warehouse and materials operation is currently seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team. This is a full‑time, permanent role within a well‑organised environment where safe handling, organisation and teamwork are part of everyday operations. Candidates must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence, an up‑to‑date Manual Handling Certificate, and at least a Provisional driving licence. The role also involves working every second Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm, paid at time and a half.

The position offers a varied working day, combining counterbalance forklift driving, yard movements and general warehouse support. You will work with a broad range of products and support goods‑in, storage and dispatch activities across both warehouse and yard areas. This role would suit an experienced forklift driver who enjoys hands‑on work and is comfortable supporting different parts of the operation as needed.

You will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load and position stock, as well as assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles and handling goods for putaway. You will help ensure materials flow efficiently through the operation while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and care.

Alongside forklift duties, you will support stock organisation and dispatch processes, ensuring products are stored correctly and handled safely at all times. You will also play an active role in maintaining a clean, organised and safety‑compliant warehouse and yard by following all health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks in the yard and warehouse
• Handle goods moving both northbound and southbound
• Support goods‑in, stock movement and dispatch operations
• Ensure correct storage and organisation of stock
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work environment
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
• Driving licence: minimum Provisional required for company insurance.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, yard or distribution environment
• Comfortable with physical, hands‑on work
• Safety‑conscious and reliable
• Willing to work every second Saturday when required
