Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Operator

 

Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Operator is required for a nationwide specialist component distributor based in Dublin South. This is a warehouse‑based role supporting the efficient handling and movement of stock within a busy distribution operation.

 

The company supplies technical components to customers across Ireland and operates from a structured, well‑run warehouse facility. The position plays a key role in maintaining smooth day‑to‑day warehouse flow in a fast‑paced but organised environment.

 

You will be responsible for the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of stock, operating both counterbalance and reach forklifts as required. You will use warehouse systems and follow established procedures to ensure goods are handled, stored, and moved correctly.

 

You will work closely with warehouse colleagues, support general duties when required, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. A reliable, proactive approach and a strong commitment to health and safety are essential for this role.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Receive and store incoming stock
• Put stock away into designated warehouse locations
• Pick, pack, and dispatch finished products accurately
• Operate warehouse management systems to record stock movements
• Move goods safely using counterbalance and reach forklifts
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well‑organised warehouse
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures

 

 

Requirements:

 

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Valid counterbalance and reach forklift licences
• Experience with receiving, storing, and dispatching stock
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
