Voice Picker / PPT Operator

 

Experienced Voice Pickers to join a fast‑moving FMCG warehouse based in Citywest. This position is ideal for candidates who are confident working in a high‑volume operation where accuracy, speed, and teamwork are essential.

 

The role runs Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30, with overtime opportunities available and paid at time and a half. It is suited to dependable individuals who enjoy practical warehouse duties and working towards daily performance targets within a team environment.

 

You will be responsible for voice‑directed picking of customer orders, ensuring all products are accurately selected and correctly prepared for dispatch. You will work to defined productivity and quality targets while supporting the smooth and efficient flow of orders through the warehouse. Daily use of a powered pallet truck (PPT) is required, with a strong emphasis on safe and correct operation.

 

You will work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven FMCG warehouse environment and consistently maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability. You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Accurately picking customer orders using a voice-directed system 
  • Safe and correct operation of a powered pallet truck (PPT) 
  • Preparing orders for dispatch 
  • Ensuring correct product selection and quantities 
  • Supporting the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse 
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures 
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area 
  • Working effectively as part of the warehouse team

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience in an FMCG warehouse environment 
  • Experience using voice-directed picking systems 
  • Powered pallet truck (PPT) experience preferred 
  • Ability to work to performance targets 
  • Good attention to detail 
  • Manual Handling certificate (essential) 
  • Physically fit to carry out warehouse duties 
  • Reliable and punctual approach to work 
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
