Warehouse Supervisor (White Goods)
Logistics and warehousing operation in Rathcoole is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities within a busy white goods environment. This is a full-time permanent opportunity suited to a hands-on supervisor with strong people management skills, excellent organisation and a solid understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, dispatch and health and safety standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, loaded and dispatched accurately and efficiently. Working with large household appliances and white goods, this role requires strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and accurately
- Lead, motivate and support warehouse operatives to meet operational targets
- Oversee the receiving, storage, picking, loading and dispatch of white goods
- Ensure stock is handled correctly to prevent damage and maintain product quality
- Monitor workflow and allocate tasks across the warehouse team
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation and health & safety
- Ensure all warehouse procedures, company policies and compliance requirements are followed
- Support inventory control, stock checks and issue resolution
- Liaise with transport, customer service and management teams to support smooth operations
- Identify process improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team lead role
- Experience working with white goods, bulky goods, logistics, distribution or retail warehousing is highly desirable
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good knowledge of warehouse processes, stock control, dispatch and goods-in procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good understanding of health and safety standards in a warehouse setting
- Forklift licence or manual handling certification would be an advantage
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Reliable, hands-on and confident managing a busy warehouse team .
