Warehouse Order Picker

 

Warehouse Order Picker required for fresh produce company based in North County Dublin. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with an immediate start available for the right candidate. The role is based on a 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, starting at 8am. A valid in-date manual handling certificate and previous order picking experience is essential. 

 

The role will involve working as part of a busy dispatch and production team within a warehouse of approximately 70 staff, primarily across fruit and vegetable operations. Full training will be provided on internal systems. While forklift experience is not required, it would be considered an advantage.

 

You will be responsible for picking/packing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all products are prepared & dispatched in line with company and customer standards. This includes printing and applying labels, carrying out quality checks and ensuring all goods meet required specifications. You will also support grading, sorting & packing activities to maintain product quality and presentation.

 

You will complete all relevant production and quality documentation, ensuring traceability and labelling accuracy at all stages. Working within a fast-paced team environment, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation by following a “clean as you go” approach. A good level of English is essential.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Print all labels correctly for Production, Order Assembly and Goods Inwards
• Pick and assemble daily orders in line with customer specifications
• Ensure all products are correctly labelled and meet customer requirements
• Check, complete and sign off all product and associated paperwork
• Maintain traceability standards and labelling accuracy (knowledge an advantage)
• Grade, sort and pack products for dispatch
• Adhere to a “clean as you go” policy to maintain hygiene and facility standards

 

 

Requirements:

 

• Manual Handling Certificate
• Basic computer literacy
• Fluent English
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of traceability and labelling
