Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00

A well-established transport and supply chain company is seeking an experienced Rigid Driver to join its operation in Dublin 12. Supporting a diverse customer base across multiple industries, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable transport solutions and exceptional customer service. They are looking for a dependable and professional driver who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining the high standards their customers have come to expect.

As an experienced Rigid Driver, you will play a key role within the transport team, conducting deliveries and collections for a wide range of commercial customers. Driving a curtain-side rigid vehicle, you will be responsible for ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently while providing a first-class service at every delivery and collection point. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, accountability and a strong commitment to safety while contributing to the smooth and efficient running of daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
• Operate a curtain-side rigid vehicle in line with company and road transport regulations.
• Open and secure curtains during loading and unloading activities.
• Occasionally assist with loading and unloading using a tail lift and manual pallet truck.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and defect checks.
• Complete all required transport documentation accurately.
• Always provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Ensure deliveries are completed within scheduled times.
• Maintain compliance with Driver Hours and Tachograph regulations.
• Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents promptly.

Requirements:

• Full Category C (Rigid) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience operating rigid vehicles.
• Good understanding of Irish road networks and transport regulations.
• Comfortable performing manual handling duties when required.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Dependable, punctual and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Ability to work independently and represent the business professionally.
