Salary: €43,000+ per annum

Join a well-established Cork-based company with a strong reputation. Based in Cork, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and professionally to customers throughout Cork and the wider Munster region.

 

This is a permanent, Monday to Friday position with typical working hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, giving you your weekends back while enjoying the stability of regular work. The role offers a competitive hourly rate, weekly pay, and overtime paid at time and a half. With additional overtime opportunities available, annual earnings can exceed €45,000.

Responsibilities

 

  • Safely operate a flatbed rigid truck for the transportation of good ad materials across designated routes.
  • Load and unload material, ensuring secure and balanced load distribution for transit
  •  operate an on-board crane to assist with loading and unloading; otherwise, assist with manual or assisted unloading as needed. (Training provided)
  • Follow numbered drop schedules accurately and efficiently
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations
  • Lift, carry, pull and manoeuvre boxes from the truck into customer premises
  • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and proof of delivery

 

Requirements

 

  • Full EU Category C driving licence
  • Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
  • Knowledge of load securing procedures
  • Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer skills
  • Knowledge of operating a crane for loading and unloading purposes advantageous.
  • Reliable, punctual and well organised
  • Physical ability to manage manual loading/unloading if required.
